As you know with weddings, there is so many things to think about. From the big things such as saying I Do, to the little things like trying to find the perfect centre piece. Now every wedding has different priorities and because of this some things are more important than others. Recently with all the weddings I have been to, it has been so nice to see that every guest that has been invited to
the wedding has been thought about by the bride and groom. This is shown in the little things such
as the food. If someone close to you, maybe in the bridal party, a groomsmen or a niece or
nephew, is a fuzzy eater, asking your suppliers the question if you can get something special made
for them that you know they are going to eat. It is such a little thing and can be fixed by asking one
small question but it can go a long way to that particular guest. I am not saying you have to do this
for every guest, especially if you have a large guest list, it can be quite difficult to make sure every
single person is okay but at least looking at the general menu and making sure that you have a
Gluten Free option if that is applicable for you, can really go a long way.
There are also a whole bunch of little things that you can do that will go a long way with your
guests at your wedding. Some examples of this includes, having a small game in the centre of the table at your wedding breakfast! This is great to keep little ones entertained but also fun for the adults as well! Recently a lot of couples have been having a game of picture bingo. Not only does it keep the kids entertained but it also allows the adults to take photos of different moments so that they have a collection of memories from the day! Its also a great way to have a variety of photos from moments that you didn’t even know were happening.
You want to make sure that everyone enjoys your special day as well as yourselves so taking the time to focus on all of these little details really will make a difference. From the tiniest of tasks like
making sure you have enough room on dance floor for everyone to see your first dance to making
sure that there is food catered to everyone. The last thing you want is to be thinking “Are my
guests bored? Is there anything that my uncle will eat?” etc. So try to get ahead of yourselves
before the big day.
This is also what a wedding planner is there for! To help you iron out any kinks that you may have
with these small details. With all the experience of a wedding planner, I’m sure they have stories to tell and can help prevent you from forgetting about all these little details. By making it for for you both, its also going to be fun for your guests! Im not saying that you need to go out and spend a whole bunch of money on something for everyone but maybe get a little creative and think outside of the box. For example, something as simple as a word search! These are so easy to generate online and it will give your guests something to keep them entertained while they are waiting for the food to be served.
